                                    Stampede Against Hunger!
Weighing in at over four to five tons each, Lady, Lois, Leah, Penney, Megan, Tattoo, and Zoe, female African Elephants, consume over 715 pounds of food per day at the Kansas City Zoo. They are on a mission to help trample out hunger in Kansas City, and these ladies mean business!  Help them reach their goal of raising more than 700 pounds of food (one day worth of feasting for these elephants) during the months of November and December.

Give a treat, get a treat. Visit the Zoo today through December 14, bring a canned good or a non-perishable item and receive a treat from the Zoo.  Donations received through the drive will help Harvesters' network feed those in need throughout Kansas City.  The elephants of the Zoo thank you for your support in their efforts to trample hunger in Kansas City during the Kansas City Zoo’s Stampede against hunger! Donations will be accepted at guest relations.
